1 volunteer engaged 16 students of Govt HSS Marayamuttam, Trivandrum in volunteering awareness, personality development, and paper bag–making to promote eco-friendly action.

On 30 January 2026, our volunteer Abiyah S J conducted an Introduction to Volunteering and Personality Development session at Govt HSS Marayamuttam, Trivandrum.

1 volunteer engaged 16 students in a 6-hour interactive session that combined volunteering awareness with hands-on environmental action. Students learned about the meaning of volunteering, personal growth, and social responsibility, and also took part in a paper bag–making activity to promote eco-friendly practices and reduce plastic use.

To extend learning beyond the classroom, students distributed the handmade paper bags to nearby shops, spreading awareness about environmental responsibility and the importance of volunteering. The activity encouraged students to connect learning with real-world action, making the experience both practical and impactful.

This session helped students understand that volunteering not only benefits society but also builds confidence, leadership, and personality development. It motivated them to take small, meaningful steps toward positive change in their daily lives.
