1 volunteer facilitated 5 days of yoga, play, food sharing and child-development awareness for 8 Anganwadi children in Chengannoor, Alappuzha, led by Salman Farisi S.

Our volunteer Salman Farisi S from Lovely Professional University organised an initiative titled “The Beginning Steps for the Upgrowing Children” at Anganwadi Samyojitha Shishu Vikasana Sevana Padhathi – ICDS, Chengannoor from 14th July to 18th July 2025 in Alappuzha.

Around 1 volunteer facilitated interactive and meaningful activities for 8 children. Each day included a fun activity session where the children engaged in yoga, playtime, eating together, group exercises, and simple interactive classes. The sessions aimed to introduce essential concepts in an age-friendly way - focusing on ethics, body awareness, healthy eating habits, personal safety (good touch–bad touch), and social behaviour.

The initiative not only helped the children become more socially active and confident, but also supported the teachers and parents in promoting a healthy lifestyle, structured routine, and stronger emotional development among the kids.

We deeply appreciate the commitment and compassion shown by @farisi_nagisa in carrying out this thoughtful initiative. It’s efforts like these that help shape a better foundation for our youngest learners.
