1 volunteers engaged 9 children through paper-craft creativity and hygiene awareness at Thodiyoor Anganwadi, Kollam, led by Sree Ragh K.

Our volunteer Sree Ragh K from Lovely Professional University organised the Nurture and Nourish initiative at Thodiyoor Anganwadi from July 10 to July 23, 2025, in Kollam, as part of his community development project.

The initiative focused on engaging 9 young children through a creative paper craft session, where they learned to make simple and colorful paper flowers. The hands-on activity involved folding, shaping, and decorating, helping the children express their creativity while also developing fine motor skills.

Alongside the craft session, the initiative also emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment, aligning with the care and hygiene aspect of the Nurture and Nourish theme. The session fostered trust, boosted the children’s confidence, and left a lasting impression—especially on those who were initially hesitant to participate.

We appreciate the efforts of Sree Ragh for taking up this meaningful initiative and making a positive impact in the early learning environment.
