100 students of Gurudeva College of Advanced Studies were introduced to SBI Youth for India Fellowship and career opportunities in the social sector at Kozhikode.

We collaborated with Platform Commons and SBI Foundation to organise an orientation session on the SBI Youth for India Fellowship on August 5, 2025, at Gurudeva College of Advanced Studies, Kozhikode.

Around 100 students were introduced to the fellowship and the career advancement support they will receive as part of the program. We appreciate the enthusiasm and interest of the students in learning about and joining the social development sector in India. The session was led by our facilitator, Sreekala.

The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a prestigious 13-month paid fellowship program by the SBI Foundation that offers young Indians the opportunity to work on rural development projects in partnership with experienced NGOs. This fellowship provides hands-on experience in tackling rural challenges and contributing to sustainable development. Fellows receive a stipend of approximately ₹3 lakh, along with transportation and accommodation allowances.
