130 students of College of Applied Science, Thamarassery were introduced to SBI Youth for India Fellowship and career opportunities in the social sector at Thamarassery.

We collaborated with Platform Commons and SBI Foundation to organize an orientation session on the SBI Youth for India Fellowship on August 6, 2025, at College of Applied Science, Thamarassery.

A total of 130 students participated in the session and were introduced to the fellowship and the career advancement opportunities it offers. We appreciate the keen interest shown by the students in learning about the social development sector and how they can be a part of it. The session was led by our facilitator, Sreekala, who shared valuable insights about the fellowship experience and impact.

The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a prestigious 13-month paid program by the SBI Foundation that empowers young Indians to work on rural development projects alongside experienced NGOs. It provides practical exposure to grassroots challenges and contributes to sustainable change. Fellows receive a stipend of approximately ₹3 lakh, along with transportation and accommodation support.
