18 Volunteers Installed Bird Feeder In Rajasthan

The scorching summer months can be particularly challenging for our avian friends, but thanks to the dedicated efforts of volunteer Khushi Jodha and the Gauseva Team, birds in Ladnun, Rajasthan, now have more places to find respite. On April 30, 2025, a successful Bird Feeder Installation Campaign brought together community members to provide much-needed support for local bird populations.
The initiative saw around 18 enthusiastic volunteers fanning out across Ladnun, installing a total of 18 bird feeders and nests at two key locations: the Seth Ganpat Rai Sarawgi Government Hospital and the Jain Vishva Bharati Institute. Beyond just setting up the feeders, volunteers diligently ensured that each installation offered essential elements for bird survival: water, shade, and shelter. This thoughtful approach is crucial for helping birds navigate the intense summer heat.
More than just a practical effort, the campaign also served as a powerful tool for raising awareness about bird conservation. By actively involving students and locals, the initiative fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges birds face and inspired a greater sense of compassion for animals. The sight of volunteers working together for this cause undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the community.
A huge thank you goes out to coordinator Khushi Jodha for her leadership and vision in organizing this impactful event. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated volunteers, including Lehro, Asha Meghwal, and Gausevak Keshav Pareek, whose hands-on efforts made this campaign a resounding success. Their commitment to the well-being of Ladnun's feathered residents is truly commendable.
