35 Students of Gems Modern Academy Kochi collected 375kg of non plastic waste in fortkochi beach

We had an incredible day on January 25, 2025, as we teamed up with Gems Modern Academy Kochi for a Beach Cleanup Drive at the historic shores of Fort Kochi, Ernakulam.

With the enthusiastic participation of around 35 students, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work — collecting and responsibly disposing of a whopping 375 kg of non-biodegradable waste!

From plastic bottles and wrappers to abandoned footwear and discarded fishing gear — every piece removed brought us a step closer to a cleaner coastline.

This drive wasn't just about cleaning up — it was about learning, caring, and committing to a more sustainable future. A massive shoutout to the incredible student volunteers for their energy, dedication, and teamwork!
