47 students created 47 recycled newspaper paper bags to promote environmental and volunteering awareness at NHSS NOCHAT, Kozhikode, led by CK Muhammed Nizam.

Our volunteer CK Muhammed Nizam successfully completed a school volunteering activity as part of the VolSchool initiative on August 9, 2025, at NHSS NOCHAT, Kozhikode.

Around 47 students were engaged in a session that introduced them to the spirit and purpose of volunteering. Nizam explained the importance of volunteering and the benefits of engaging in meaningful community service.

The session also included a plastic awareness segment and a paper bag–making activity, through which the students created 47 handmade paper bags using newspapers. These bags were later distributed to nearby community shops to promote environmental awareness and sustainable alternatives to plastic.

We appreciate the efforts of Nizam and the student volunteers for enthusiastically participating in this program and taking their first step toward responsible citizenship and social contribution.
