50+ NGO leaders engaged in Kerala’s first Daan Utsav planning meetup to strengthen the festival of giving movement at Kochi in collaboration with Volunteer For India.

We collaborated with Volunteer For India, a national volunteering network, to host the first Daan Utsav Kerala Meet on 9 August 2025 at XIME Kochi.

Around 50+ NGO leaders from across Kerala joined us for a powerful planning session dedicated to strengthening Daan Utsav 2025. The meet marked an important milestone in our collective journey to ensure that Kerala celebrates India’s biggest festival of giving in a more connected, inclusive, and impactful way.

The room was filled with inspiring conversations and collaborative energy as leaders brainstormed city-specific celebrations, statewide campaigns, and community-driven initiatives—each idea deeply rooted in kindness, civic participation, and collective responsibility. The shared vision was loud and clear: to take the spirit of giving to every corner of Kerala, leaving no community behind.

The meet was not just a discussion—it was a leap forward. It strengthened partnerships, aligned missions, and created momentum for a larger movement. What began as a simple idea is now evolving into a statewide collective of changemakers committed to making generosity a shared cultural celebration across the state.

This is only the beginning. We now invite more stakeholders—corporates, government bodies, educational institutions, media, citizen groups, and community networks—to join hands with us and co-create Kerala’s biggest festival of giving. Together, we can transform Daan Utsav 2025 into a celebration powered by unity, participation, and shared impact.

We sincerely appreciate every leader who showed up, shared ideas, and committed their time and vision to this movement. 💙
