57 volunteers trekked to disperse 3200 seedballs to create a greener environment in Trivandrum.

On September 12, 2024, we teamed up with the Academy for Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (AMAS) for a one-of-a-kind Seed Bombing Initiative at the breathtaking Koonichi Hills in Thiruvananthapuram. 🌳✨

With the seed balls lovingly prepared by Infosys employees, a team of 57 passionate volunteers set out on a mission that blended adventure with impact. The group trekked through the hills, dedicating an average of 7 hours each to dispersing over 3,000 seed balls across the landscape.

This initiative wasn’t just about planting seeds—it was about restoring ecosystems, reviving green cover, and boosting biodiversity in a region that’s rich in natural heritage.
