7000+ volunteers engaged in India’s largest volunteering carnival at Trivandrum, Kerala in collaboration with Volunteer For India through Koottam 2025.
We collaborated with Volunteer For India, a national volunteering network, to organize Koottam 2025 as part of Good Deeds Day on 26–27 April 2025 at Trivandrum, Kerala.
Around 7,000 volunteers joined us for India’s Largest Volunteering Carnival, proving that Koottam is more than an event—it is a powerful celebration of community, kindness, and collective action. The name Koottam, meaning “gathering” in Malayalam, truly reflects its purpose: bringing people of all ages together to do good, feel good, and spread joy while making a real impact.
The carnival came alive with music, art, games, workshops, conversations, and meaningful volunteering activities, creating an inclusive space where college students, professionals, NGOs, and citizens connected through the shared spirit of giving back. Every activity was designed to inspire empathy, encourage civic responsibility, and build stronger community participation across Kerala.
Koottam showed how unity can transform public spaces into platforms of compassion, learning, creativity, and service. Whether someone joined to volunteer, perform at the open mic, support a cause, or simply experience the joy of togetherness, the event created lasting memories and motivation to continue doing good beyond the carnival days.
We deeply appreciate every volunteer and partner who helped make this dream possible. Your time, energy, and leadership continue to inspire a more compassionate Kerala—together, as one Koottam. 💙
