82 students of Govt. Polytechnic College Chelakkara were trained in soft skills to enhance their job readiness.

The Skill Development Training Program, a collaborative initiative with VFS Global, was successfully held at Government Polytechnic College, Chelakkara on October 14, 19, and 20, 2024. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ soft skills and empower them with essential tools for academic and career success.

Over three impactful days, the program engaged more than 82 students through over 16 sessions designed to build personal and professional competencies. The curriculum included a wide range of topics such as personality development, attitude and motivation, self-esteem building, financial literacy, budgeting and investment, communication, problem-solving, networking, time management, leadership, resume building, self-grooming, and interview preparation.

We extend our sincere thanks to facilitators Vishnu T S and Adarsh, whose engaging delivery and interactive learning methods—including group activities, discussions, and games—created a meaningful and memorable learning experience for the participants.

The students’ enthusiastic feedback reflected the value and relevance of the sessions. We are grateful to Government Polytechnic College, Chelakkara for their hospitality and support in hosting the program. Special appreciation also goes to VFS Global for their continued partnership and commitment to empowering students through skill development.
