Captains Social Foundation is a youth-led non-profit organisation with the objective of promoting volunteerism among young people in India. We design volunteering opportunities for young people to build their 21st-century skills and address the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We reimagine volunteerism as a transformative tool for personal growth, leadership development, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Our aim is to build future leaders through volunteering by equipping young people to turn their ideas into actions that address community needs and drive meaningful change.
We are a collaborative platform for individuals, institutions, organisations, communities, corporates, governments, and other stakeholders - to create shared opportunities for volunteering. From ideation to execution, we support the design, coordination, outreach, and implementation of social initiatives that drive meaningful change locally, regionally, and globally.
At Captains, volunteering is more than just giving back - it’s about building the future. We are shaping a generation of young leaders who take initiative, tackle real-world challenges, and create a ripple effect of change.
Captains Social Foundation is based in Kerala (India), with operations across all 14 districts of the state. We are one of Kerala’s largest independent volunteering organisations and among the most active volunteering movements in India.
