Our Growth Pathway

At Captains Social Foundation, we believe active citizenship is a journey. Young people enter at different stages - some start by engaging with their communities, some deepen their understanding through learning, and some go on to lead meaningful change. To honour this progression, we recognise volunteers across three levels of social responsibility:

1. Socially Responsible Citizens

For those who take their first steps into volunteering.
These are young people who participate in community activities, contribute their time, and begin to understand their responsibility toward society. Through hyper-local action, they develop empathy, civic sense, and a deeper connection with the community.

2. Socially Responsible Advocates

For those who actively build skills, learn, and inspire awareness.
These volunteers attend trainings, workshops, education sessions, civic learning modules, and awareness programmes. They deepen their understanding of social issues, strengthen 21st-century skills, and become advocates who promote responsible behaviour within their circles.

3. Socially Responsible Leaders

For those who take ownership and lead community actions.
These volunteers identify local problems, co-create solutions with our team, mobilise resources, and implement meaningful hyper-local volunteering initiatives that address UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their leadership helps transform spaces, inspire peers, and create sustainable community impact.
