On 20 February 2026, a Child Awareness and Protection Session was conducted by our volunteer Abiyah at St. Peter's UP School, Vlathankara.

✨ 1 volunteer dedicated 3 hours to engage 79 students of Classes VI and VII in an interactive and thought-provoking session focused on children’s rights, personal safety, and protection from exploitation under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The session helped students understand how to identify unsafe situations, recognize inappropriate behavior, and confidently speak up when needed. Through open discussions and age-appropriate explanations, the facilitator created a safe and supportive environment where students could ask questions and express their concerns freely.

📊 Impact Achieved:
✔ 79 students sensitized on child rights and personal safety
✔ Increased awareness about protection laws and safe boundaries
✔ Students reported feeling more aware and courageous to raise their voice against exploitation

This initiative reinforced the importance of early awareness, empowering young students with knowledge, confidence, and the courage to protect themselves and support others.

A heartfelt appreciation to the volunteer for taking this meaningful step toward safeguarding children through awareness and education. 💙
