112 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 300 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Thrissur

On September 16, 2023, we had the incredible privilege of organizing a Beach CleanUp Drive in collaboration with Decathlon @decathlonthrissur and Aakri at the picturesque Sneehatheeram Beach in Thrissur.

What made this event truly remarkable was the unwavering dedication of the 112 volunteers who joined hands with us. They didn’t just show up; they arrived with a sense of purpose, determination, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

Together, this team of passionate eco-warriors worked tirelessly to restore the natural beauty of Sneehatheeram Beach, removing an astonishing 300kg of non-biodegradable waste that had tarnished its pristine shoreline. Their efforts were nothing short of inspiring, demonstrating the power of collective action in environmental conservation.

The cleanup didn’t just end with collecting waste; it was a step towards responsible waste management. All the collected waste materials were handed over to Aakri, a waste management company dedicated to sustainability. Through their careful segregation and proper disposal process, we ensured that the waste was managed responsibly, minimizing harm to our precious ecosystem.
