15 volunteers created 15 audiobooks to empower visually impaired school students

In November 2022, our volunteers took a significant step towards inclusive education by collaborating with Butterflies Organisation to create 15 audiobooks for visually impaired school students in Kerala. This initiative was led by our dedicated volunteer, Sruthy, who connected with Butterflies to make educational resources more accessible for students with visual impairments.
A team of 15 passionate volunteers came forward, each taking on the responsibility of creating an audiobook based on school study materials. Their goal was to ensure that visually impaired students had equal access to quality education and could engage with their syllabus in an efficient and meaningful way. Through their commitment and hard work, these volunteers recorded and compiled study materials, providing a crucial resource for students who rely on auditory learning.
By creating these audiobooks, our volunteers have contributed towards breaking barriers in education, enabling visually impaired students to learn effectively and independently. Their dedication reflects the spirit of reimagining volunteerism, where collective efforts create lasting social change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sruthy and the entire team of volunteers for making this initiative a success. Together, we continue to work towards an inclusive and empowered future for all.
