15 volunteers distributed meals to 25 street dwellers in Kozhikode

On April 3, 2022, as part of the Good Deeds Day initiative, Theruvoram Destitute Care Kerala and SFC Arts & Sports Club Puzhachal, in collaboration with Captains Social Foundation, organized a Food Donation Campaign to support street dwellers in Kozhikode.

A team of 15+ dedicated volunteers distributed food to immigrant laborers, elderly individuals, orphans, infants, and differently-abled people living on the streets of Kozhikode. Beyond providing food, the volunteers also took steps to ensure the availability of water for birds and animals, helping them cope with the harsh summer heat.

The campaign extended beyond food donation—volunteers also cleaned the streets and surrounding areas near Kozhikode Beach, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.

This initiative truly embodied the spirit of Good Deeds Day, showcasing how small acts of kindness can create a big impact in society.

We applaud the efforts of all the volunteers and organizations involved in making this campaign a success. Their dedication towards helping the less fortunate and protecting the environment is an inspiration for us all.

Let’s continue spreading kindness and making a difference in our communities!
