16 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 100 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Kozhikode.

On August 15, 2022, our volunteers in Kozhikode, in collaboration with Streets of Calicut, took a step towards a cleaner and healthier environment by organizing a Beach Cleanup Drive at South Beach, Kozhikode. The event, held from 6:30 AM to 10 AM, was a dedicated effort to preserve the beauty of our coastline and protect marine life from pollution.

A team of 16 committed volunteers enthusiastically participated, working tirelessly to collect and responsibly dispose of 100 kg of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. This initiative not only helped in reducing beach pollution but also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of sustainable waste management and responsible tourism.
