17 volunteers were introduced to the concept of UN Sustainable Development Goals in Ernakulam

On April 1-2, 2023, we successfully organized the first offline Impact Room on Creating SDG Advocates at The Volunteers Hub, Kochi, in collaboration with Peace First (@peacefirstorg) and Good Deeds Day (@gooddeedsday). This landmark event brought together a passionate group of volunteers committed to making a difference in their communities through sustainable action.
Over the course of two days, 17+ volunteers actively participated in an intensive workshop focused on understanding and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through interactive discussions and teamwork, they developed an engaging session on the basics of SDGs, which will soon be delivered in educational institutions across Kerala.
The workshop aimed to empower volunteers with the knowledge and tools necessary to become effective SDG advocates, ensuring that more young minds are educated on the importance of sustainability and global responsibility.
Our dedicated volunteers, hailing from 14 districts across Kerala, are not stopping here! As part of their continued commitment, they will also be leading Good Deeds Day initiatives within their communities, driving local actions that create meaningful and lasting change.
By fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and grassroots action, this Impact Room has set the foundation for a stronger network of changemakers. We look forward to seeing these passionate advocates take their learnings forward and inspire more individuals to contribute to a better world.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming sessions and initiatives! Together, we can make a lasting impact.
