On November 14, 2022, the volunteers of CAPTAINS Ernakulam organized the #MyPaperBag Campaign 12.0 at Kadamakkudy Government High School, in support of the #EveryIndianVolunteering movement by Captains Social Foundation.

A dedicated group of 18 volunteers participated in the initiative, engaging students in making and distributing paper bags to encourage sustainable practices. This campaign aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and promote the use of eco-friendly alternatives.

#MyPaperBag Campaign is a nationwide initiative by Captains Social Foundation, collaborating with 100+ institutions across India to produce 1 lakh paper bags. Through this movement, young volunteers are empowered to work with schools and colleges to inspire communities towards responsible environmental actions.

The Kadamakkudy edition of #MyPaperBag Campaign was a meaningful step toward creating a plastic-free environment. The students and volunteers actively participated in discussions on sustainability, emphasizing the importance of reducing plastic waste.

Together, let’s build a greener future—one paper bag at a time! ♻️🌱
