On October 12, 2024, we proudly collaborated with IBM Kochi and Goodera to organize a Tree Plantation Drive at Sehyon Central Kitchen, Edakochi, in Kochi, Kerala. This initiative was part of IBM’s employee volunteering efforts aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and community well-being.

A dedicated group of 29 IBM employees came together to plant 125 tree saplings over the course of three hours. Each sapling planted represents a commitment to a greener future, supporting both local biodiversity and global climate action.

This collective effort not only contributes to the environment but also enhances the green cover around the community kitchen, which plays a crucial role in local food distribution and welfare.

We sincerely appreciate the passion and commitment of the IBM Kochi team. Their enthusiastic participation highlights the power of corporate volunteering in driving meaningful change.

We look forward to more such collaborations in the future—where hands come together to plant hope, and small actions grow into lasting impact.
