36 volunteers created 36 paper bags to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Ernakulam

On January 7, 2023, our dedicated volunteer Fasna successfully organized the #MyPaperBag Campaign 12.0 in collaboration with Amaara Foundation at Government High School, Edappally, Ernakulam. This impactful initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of reducing plastic usage and promoting eco-friendly alternatives.

The event witnessed active participation from over 5 volunteers, who engaged 31+ enthusiastic students in a hands-on paper bag-making session. Through this interactive workshop, students learned not only the art of crafting paper bags but also the significance of adopting sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Alongside the creative session, an awareness program was conducted to educate students about the environmental hazards of plastic waste and the necessity of switching to biodegradable and reusable materials. The session encouraged young minds to take small yet meaningful steps toward a greener future.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fasna, Amaara Foundation, our volunteers, and the students for making this campaign a great success. Together, we are making a difference—one paper bag at a time!

Stay tuned for more such initiatives and join us in our mission to build a cleaner, greener world!
