75 volunteers planted 20 trees to create a greener environmentt in Malappuram

We are thrilled to share an inspiring collaboration with the incredible volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 60 of DUA College Vazhakkad for the United Nations Environment Program's World Environment Day 2023 Campaign. Their unwavering dedication and passionate efforts led to a highly successful CleanUp and Plantation Drive on June 5, 2023.

With an enthusiastic team of over 75+ volunteers, NSS Unit 60 took the initiative to clean the college premises, showcasing their deep commitment to environmental preservation. Their hard work resulted in the removal of an astounding 1000+ kg of non-biodegradable waste, significantly transforming the college into a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable space.

Beyond cleaning efforts, these remarkable volunteers went a step further by planting 20 saplings across the campus, breathing new life into the surroundings. These young trees will not only enhance the beauty of the campus but will also contribute to improved air quality, biodiversity, and a greener future for all.
