Founder & CEO
Afsal Mohammed B is the Founder & CEO of Captains Social Foundation. He is a social volunteer and entrepreneur from Kerala, India. Volunteering has always been his passion and life’s mission. Over the past 18 years, he has engaged with 100,000+ youth across India and led hundreds of initiatives addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. His goal is to build a network of socially committed volunteers who can drive meaningful change in society. He has been recognised as the Green Guardian of India 2024 by UNICEF YuWaah India for his contributions to climate action. He received a special mention in the Volunteer Hero of India 2024 and was honoured in the iVolunteer Awards in 2018 & 2019, the premier national recognition for exceptional volunteerism and contributions to India's social sector. His work has also earned him international recognition, including the Millennium Fellowship (2018) and the Millennium Ocean Prize (2019).

Adarsh PA is a social engineer who had completed his graduation from MDIT Engineering College in Civil Engineering discipline. He had engaged in numerous socially committed programs and accomplished those with much excitement and enthusiasm, and had marked his signature in social volunteering. He acquired experience of 8 years in the field of volunteering; focussing on program coordination, volunteer management, and communication. He was one among the State NSS Activity Coordination team for the year 2017-18 and coordinated the flood relief & rehabilitation activities under District Administration Kozhikode during 2018 and 2019. Currently, he provides training sessions for technical students to empower their capacity. He dreams and aims to create socially committed citizens and prepare a platform for youth to showcase their talent and strength before society.
