10 volunteers mobilised 100 books to set up a class library for 50 students in Trivandrum

In a heartwarming initiative, our volunteer Reema S, organized her first volunteering activity - a Book Collection Drive - in collaboration with Tarang GCEB from August 1 to 4 at Thiruvananthapuram. The drive focused on collecting 100 children's books and magazines to create a small class library for 50 students at Govt. H S L P School, Pappanamcode.

Beyond book collection, the volunteers also conducted a fundraising campaign to provide goodies for the students. The initiative aimed to engage children in creative and educational activities, including reciting, singing, dancing, coloring, and reading, fostering a love for learning among young students.

With the support of 10+ dedicated youth volunteers, the initiative successfully brought joy and knowledge to the students, emphasizing the power of volunteering and community-driven change.

This effort reflects the spirit of youth-led volunteerism, reinforcing the importance of education, creativity, and collective action in shaping a brighter future for children.
