100 volunteers created 2250 seedballs to create a greener environmentt in Coimbatore

In a remarkable collaboration with Amazon DCI and Goodera, we organized a Seed Ball Making Drive on September 27, 2023, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, as part of Daan Utsav – India’s Biggest Festival of Giving.

The response was overwhelming! Over 200 enthusiastic volunteers came together, their hands covered in soil but their hearts filled with hope, to create a staggering 2250+ seed balls. 🌱🌍 These tiny yet powerful green warriors are not just seeds; they symbolize the promise of a greener, healthier future.

Each of these seed balls holds the potential to sprout into a mighty tree, contributing to reforestation efforts and aiding in the battle against climate change. Thanks to the Kerala Forest Department, these seed balls will be dispersed in deforested areas, ensuring that they find a suitable home to thrive and grow into lush greenery. 🌳🌲

But the impact doesn’t stop there! These seed balls will also be distributed to schools, where young minds will learn about the significance of environmental conservation. 🌱📚 Through this initiative, students will not only witness the growth of these seeds but also cultivate a deeper understanding of their role in protecting our planet. 🏫👦👧
