35 volunteers created upcycled tote-bags to be distributed to 35 tribal families in Wayanad

On September 22, 2023, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, we embarked on a creative and sustainable journey by organizing a T-Shirt to Tote Bag making activity in collaboration with Amazon and Goodera. 🛍️

With around 35 enthusiastic Amazon employees, we turned old and damaged T-shirts into stylish and eco-friendly tote bags. 🤩 These T-shirts were generously contributed by various organizations, including The Gulmohar Foundation, Institute of Social Volunteering, Good Deeds Day, Captains Social Foundation, and many more.

These tote bags, now given a fresh lease on life, serve a dual purpose. Not only are they an eco-conscious alternative to plastic bags, but they will also be distributed to those in need during Daan Utsav - India's Biggest Festival of Giving, in collaboration with Good Deed Day. 🎁 This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission of sustainability and social impact.
