13 volunteers engaged in meaningful online storytelling to initiate community actions

On January 26, 2023, our dedicated volunteers from Cohort 4 came together to organize The Hero’s Journey, an online story circle held via Google Meet. This special event provided a space for volunteers to share their experiences, reflect on their journey, and discuss future volunteering opportunities.
With over 11 passionate volunteers in attendance, the session was filled with inspiring stories and meaningful conversations. Each participant had the opportunity to share their personal volunteering experiences, highlighting the challenges they faced, the lessons they learned, and the impact they made in their communities. It was a moment of connection, learning, and encouragement as volunteers listened to each other’s journeys and found common ground in their shared mission of service.
The event also served as a platform for discussing future volunteering activities. Volunteers brainstormed ideas, exchanged insights, and explored ways to make an even greater impact. The collective energy and enthusiasm showcased the unwavering commitment of our volunteers to continue making a difference.
The Hero’s Journey was not just a storytelling session—it was a celebration of dedication, perseverance, and the transformative power of volunteering. We are immensely proud of our Cohort 4 volunteers for organizing this meaningful event and fostering a sense of community and inspiration among their peers.
As we move forward, we look forward to many more such story circles that amplify voices, build connections, and ignite the spirit of volunteering. To all our volunteers—thank you for being the heroes of your own journey and for making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time
