15 volunteers distributed dresses to 25 street dwellers in Kozhikode

As part of Good Deeds Day, Theruvoram Destitute Care Kerala and SFC Arts & Sports Club Puzhachal, in collaboration with Captains Social Foundation, organized a Dress Distribution Campaign for street dwellers on April 3, 2022, in Kozhikode.

The initiative aimed to provide essential clothing to immigrant laborers, elderly people, orphans, infants, and persons with disabilities living on the streets of Kozhikode. Beyond dress distribution, the volunteers also took proactive steps to support the environment and wildlife by setting up water sources for birds and animals during the summer. Additionally, they conducted a street cleanup drive around Kozhikode Beach, ensuring a cleaner and healthier public space.

With 15+ dedicated volunteers, the campaign made a significant impact, offering warmth, dignity, and care to those in need. Their efforts highlight the power of collective action in fostering social well-being and environmental responsibility.

This initiative serves as a reminder that simple acts of kindness can make a profound difference in people’s lives. By extending support to the underserved and protecting the environment, the volunteers showcased the true spirit of compassion and community service.

Let’s continue to spread kindness and create a world where everyone is cared for!
