15 volunteers engaged in meaningful storytelling to initiate community actions in Kollam
On July 23, 2022, we hosted our third Volunteer Story Circle at Children’s Park, Kollam, bringing together 15+ dedicated volunteers for an inspiring session on volunteerism, community action, and storytelling.
Creating a Space for Voices to be Heard
The Volunteer Story Circle is a unique initiative that provides an open, non-judgmental space where young volunteers can:
🌿 Share their personal experiences in volunteering
🌍 Discuss social challenges and brainstorm solutions
🤝 Connect with new social organizations & opportunities
💡 Collaborate on ideas to create meaningful community projects
Storytelling as a Tool for Social Change
Through engaging conversations and shared reflections, volunteers explored the power of storytelling in creating awareness, inspiring action, and fostering a strong sense of social responsibility.
By sharing their journeys, experiences, and challenges, participants not only motivated each other but also sparked new ideas for future initiatives to drive change in their communities.
