30 volunteers hosted a virtual talk session for 50 parents of visually impaired students

On August 1, 2022, a team of 30 dedicated volunteers came together to organize a virtual talk session for parents of visually impaired students. This initiative aimed to create awareness, provide guidance, and foster a supportive community for families navigating the unique challenges faced by their children.

In collaboration with Butterflies, the session was led by our passionate volunteer, Sruthy, who played a crucial role in bringing together experts and educators to share valuable insights. The discussion covered various aspects, including educational resources, emotional support, and opportunities for empowerment, ensuring parents had the knowledge and confidence to support their children's growth and development effectively.

This initiative not only strengthened the support system for visually impaired students but also highlighted the power of volunteerism in driving meaningful change. At Captains Social Foundation, we remain committed to reimagining volunteerism by addressing social challenges through impactful community-driven solutions.
