16 volunteers utilised their skills to beautify the streets of Ernakulam

On October 29, 2023, we embarked on a creative and meaningful journey, organizing a vibrant Street Wall Painting activity in collaboration with Bhumi (@bhumi.kochi) and Volunteer For India (@volunteerforindia). This event was not just about art; it was about bringing a community together to make a real difference.

With an enthusiastic team of around 16 volunteers, we set out with a shared goal: to breathe new life into old containers and convert them into a Material Collection Facility (MCF). This facility is designed to sort and process plastic waste collected from households, promoting responsible waste management and environmental sustainability. ♻️

Our volunteers didn’t just paint—they revamped, cleaned, and transformed the space into a visual spectacle. Their dedication was reflected in every brushstroke, turning dull containers into inspiring artworks that now stand as a colorful reminder to the community about the importance of sustainable living. 🌈
