3 volunteers raised awareness on traffic among 100 pedestrians in Ernakulam

On January 6, 2023, our interns from Ideal Arts and Science College, Cherpulassery, in collaboration with Kakkanad Police Station, organized a Traffic Awareness Campaign in Ernakulam. This initiative aimed to educate the public on the importance of road safety and adherence to traffic regulations.

A team of dedicated volunteers took to the streets at Kakkanad to spread awareness about crucial traffic rules and regulations. The campaign primarily focused on the dangers of traffic rule violations, the necessity of wearing seatbelts and helmets, and the risks associated with overspeeding and reckless overtaking. Through interactive sessions and direct engagement with motorists and pedestrians, the volunteers emphasized the significance of responsible road behavior.

The initiative was well-received by the public, with many appreciating the efforts of the volunteers and the Kakkanad Police Station for their commitment to road safety. By fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility, this campaign took a significant step towards ensuring safer roads for everyone.
