40 volunteers of SH College Tevera were introduced to the concept of reimagining volunteerism in Ernakulam

As part of the National Youth Week Celebrations, we organized an engaging session on "Introduction to Volunteerism & Opportunities" on January 19, 2023, at Sacred Heart (SH) College, Ernakulam.

The event was conducted in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Ernakulam and the National Service Scheme (NSS) of SH College, Thevara, bringing together over 40 enthusiastic youth eager to explore the significance of volunteerism and its various opportunities.

The session introduced participants to the power of volunteering, emphasizing its role in personal growth, community development, and career-building. Discussions covered the importance of volunteerism, different platforms that offer volunteering opportunities, real-life experiences of impactful contributions, and ways young individuals can actively engage in social initiatives.

Participants actively interacted, shared their perspectives on community challenges, and explored how they could contribute to meaningful change. The session served as an eye-opener, inspiring many to take the first step toward volunteer work.
