Onam is a festival of love, unity, and happiness, and our volunteers from CAPTAINS Malappuram made it even more special this year. In collaboration with Pookkottur Gramapanchayat, they coordinated a heartwarming Onam celebration for the students of Pratheeksha Special School at Sparsham Palliative Clinic on September 1, 2022.

Led by our dedicated volunteer Shamil, the event brought together around 34 volunteers who actively engaged in making the day memorable for the children. The celebrations were filled with cultural performances, traditional games, and interactive sessions that created an atmosphere of pure joy. The smiles on the students’ faces reflected the true essence of Onam—spreading love and happiness.

A huge appreciation to all the volunteers who participated and made this initiative a success. This celebration was not just about tradition; it was about creating cherished memories and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities, experiences the joy of festivals.
