4 volunteers engaged in meaningful storytelling to initiate community actions in Ernakulam.

On January 21, 2024, a small but passionate group of volunteers gathered at Subash Park, Ernakulam, for a meaningful Story Circle. This intimate gathering brought together four dedicated individuals who met to share experiences, discuss pressing social issues, and work towards inclusive solutions.
The focus of the session was centered around mobility challenges in Kochi. Volunteers shared stories and insights about the barriers faced by people with disabilities in public transport, and collectively pledged their support to advocate for improved accessibility. Their goal is to draw attention to the urgent need for wheelchair-accessible buses in the city.
As part of this effort, the group plans to meet with the Minister of Transportation to bring visibility to the issue and explore actionable solutions that can lead to lasting change.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Salman, whose initiative and coordination made this impactful gathering possible. His leadership and dedication reflect the spirit of volunteerism that drives our community forward.
We look forward to seeing this campaign grow and to supporting more volunteer-led initiatives that amplify voices, raise awareness, and build a more accessible and inclusive society.
