40 volunteers were introduced to the concept of sustainable waste management in Ernakulam

On April 7, 2023, we marked a significant milestone in our journey toward a cleaner and more sustainable environment. In collaboration with Cochin Corporation and Sucitwa Mission, we successfully organized our first offline training session for volunteers on waste management at Town Hall, Ernakulam.

The session saw an enthusiastic participation of over 40 volunteers who came together with a shared vision of making a difference in our community. Facilitated by Bring Back Green, the training provided valuable insights into effective waste management practices, sustainable disposal methods, and the importance of community involvement in tackling waste-related challenges.

Equipped with the knowledge gained during the session, our dedicated volunteers will now actively engage in various awareness campaigns. This includes door-to-door outreach to educate households on proper waste segregation, responsible disposal, and ways to adopt environmentally friendly habits in daily life.

By fostering a well-informed and proactive volunteer base, we aim to create a ripple effect that will contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable city. This training session is just the beginning, and we look forward to organizing more such initiatives to empower individuals in driving positive environmental change.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cochin Corporation, Sucitwa Mission, Bring Back Green, and all our passionate volunteers for their commitment to this cause. Together, we can pave the way for a cleaner and more sustainable future!
