20 volunteers were introduced to the concept of sustainable waste management in Ernakulam

On April 9, 2023, we marked a significant milestone in our journey towards a cleaner and more sustainable future by organizing the first-ever online training session for volunteers on waste management. This initiative was made possible through our collaboration with Cochin Corporation and Sucitwa Mission, reinforcing our collective commitment to environmental sustainability.
The session, facilitated by Bring Back Green, saw the enthusiastic participation of over 20 volunteers eager to contribute to the cause of responsible waste management. The training focused on equipping volunteers with the necessary knowledge and skills to drive impactful community-based waste management initiatives.
As part of this program, the volunteers will be actively engaged in various campaigns aimed at spreading awareness and promoting sustainable practices. These efforts include door-to-door awareness campaigns, educating residents on proper waste segregation, and advocating for reduced plastic usage within their communities.
By empowering volunteers with the right knowledge and tools, we are fostering a grassroots movement that will pave the way for a cleaner and healthier environment. This training session is just the beginning of a series of initiatives designed to create a lasting impact on waste management practices in our communities.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cochin Corporation, Sucitwa Mission, and Bring Back Green for their unwavering support. Most importantly, we commend our dedicated volunteers for stepping up to make a difference. Together, we are taking meaningful steps towards a greener tomorrow!
