5 volunteers came together to assist 300 senior citizens in receiving their COVID-19 vaccinations in Kollam
Volunteer For Vaccination 3.0 by Captains Social Foundation

On April 18, 2021, we organized Volunteer for Vaccination 3.0 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association. This vaccination drive aimed to provide crucial support to the community in the ongoing battle against COVID-19.
A dedicated team of 5 volunteers from Captains Social Foundation played an integral role in ensuring the success of the event. Their support helped 300 citizens, including senior citizens and individuals with limited access to healthcare, get vaccinated, significantly contributing to the larger goal of immunizing the population.
By partnering with the Indian Medical Association, we were able to set up a well-organized vaccination center at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium. The event focused on providing vaccines to the local community, enhancing public awareness about the importance of vaccination, and ensuring that no one was left behind.
The volunteers worked diligently, assisting the medical staff, managing the crowd, and providing information to citizens, making the vaccination process as smooth as possible. Their contributions helped reduce barriers to vaccination and encouraged more individuals to come forward and protect themselves against COVID-19.
This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support public health and ensure that every community member has access to the COVID-19 vaccine. By collaborating with organizations like the Indian Medical Association, we continue to work towards achieving a safer, healthier community for all.
