50 volunteers crafted a day to spread smiles among 30 differently-abled students in Malappuram

At The Social Captains, we believe in the power of community and compassion. In collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Govt. ITI Areekode, we organized a special Buds School Visit to celebrate Eid-Vishu in Malappuram, as part of @gooddeedsday.

Bringing together over 50 enthusiastic volunteers, this initiative aimed to spread joy and kindness among the 30+ special students of Pookottur Buds School. The day was filled with vibrant cultural programs, engaging activities, and heartfelt interactions, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone involved.

The celebration featured music, dance, games, and interactive sessions designed to entertain and uplift the spirits of the children. Our volunteers poured their hearts into ensuring that every child felt valued and cherished. The joy on their faces was a reward beyond words.

As a gesture of solidarity and care, we also arranged a food donation drive for the students and staff, reinforcing the spirit of sharing and togetherness that Eid and Vishu represent.

This event was not just about giving, but also about learning—about resilience, unconditional love, and the profound impact of small acts of kindness. It reminded us that true celebrations go beyond personal festivities; they are about lifting others and making meaningful connections.

A heartfelt thank you to NSS Govt. ITI Areekode, our dedicated volunteers, and the wonderful staff at Pookottur Buds School for making this initiative a grand success. Together, let’s continue to create a world where compassion and inclusivity thrive
