52 volunteers created 52 paper bags to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Ernakulam

On February 24, 2023, our dedicated volunteer, Ameen, successfully organized the #MyPaperBag Campaign 18.0 at Kannayam LP School Kolapulli, Palakkad. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic and promote sustainable alternatives through an engaging and hands-on session with young students.

With the support of over two volunteers, the campaign engaged more than 50 enthusiastic students in a creative paper bag-making activity. Through this interactive session, the students not only learned the art of making eco-friendly paper bags but also understood the importance of reducing plastic usage in their daily lives.

The event also included an insightful awareness session, where students were educated on the harmful effects of plastic pollution and how simple changes, like switching to paper bags, can contribute to a greener planet. The young minds eagerly participated, showcasing their creativity and commitment to making a difference.

The #MyPaperBag Campaign continues to inspire communities to adopt sustainable practices, and this edition at Kannayam LP School was no exception.
