53 volunteers created 53 paper bags to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Kozhikode.

On October 7, 2022, the students of JDT Islam Polytechnic College, Kozhikode, came together to take a stand against plastic pollution by organizing #MyPaperBag Campaign 8.0. This initiative was conducted in support of Captains Kozhikode and aimed at promoting sustainable alternatives to plastic usage.
With the enthusiastic participation of 53 volunteers, the campaign focused on spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and advocating for the use of paper bags. During the event, volunteers handcrafted 53 paper bags, symbolizing a commitment to reducing single-use plastic waste. These paper bags were later distributed within the community, encouraging local residents to adopt eco-friendly habits.
The campaign served as an important reminder that small, collective actions can lead to significant environmental change. Through initiatives like these, Captains Social Foundation continues to empower youth to become agents of positive change, driving efforts towards a cleaner and greener future. ♻️🌍
