6 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 60 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Kasaragod

On May 24, 2023, our dedicated volunteer, Pradeeksha (Cohort 4), took the initiative to organize a Beach Clean-Up Drive at Kasba Beach, Kasaragod. This inspiring event brought together a group of enthusiastic volunteers who were committed to making a tangible difference in their community and protecting the environment.
With over six volunteers joining hands, the team worked diligently to clean and beautify the premises of Kasba Beach. Their efforts led to the collection of more than nine sacks of non-biodegradable waste, helping to restore the beach’s natural beauty and ensure a safer, cleaner environment for all.
Beach clean-ups play a vital role in conserving marine ecosystems by preventing harmful waste from polluting the ocean and endangering marine life. Every small action contributes to a larger impact, and events like these highlight the power of collective efforts in bringing about positive change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pradeeksha and all the volunteers who participated in this clean-up drive. Your dedication to environmental conservation is truly commendable, and we hope this initiative inspires many more to join the cause.
Let’s continue working together to protect our natural spaces—one clean-up at a time!
