Volunteer For Vaccination 1.0 by Captains Social Foundation

On April 12, 2021, Captains Social Foundation proudly collaborated with the Indian Medical Association - Desinganad Branch to organize and manage a COVID-19 Immunisation Center at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Kollam. As part of this significant initiative, seven dedicated volunteers from our team actively contributed to the campaign, ensuring a seamless vaccination process for the community.
The Volunteer for Vaccination 1.0 campaign aimed to support the local health system in its fight against COVID-19 by assisting in the smooth operation of the immunization center. Held on Saturdays, the campaign provided vital logistical and operational support to enable safe and efficient vaccination for the public, with a particular focus on helping senior citizens get vaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the event, our volunteers facilitated the vaccination of 300 individuals, guiding them through the process and ensuring safety protocols were strictly followed. Their dedication and compassion were especially impactful in supporting senior citizens, offering them the care and assistance needed to make their vaccination experience smooth and stress-free.
This initiative highlighted the importance of community-driven action during a global health crisis. By volunteering their time and energy, these changemakers demonstrated how collective efforts can make a tangible impact in safeguarding public health.
The Volunteer for Vaccination 1.0 campaign was a proud moment for CAPTAINS Social Solutions, reaffirming our commitment to community welfare and showcasing the strength of youth-led volunteerism in addressing critical challenges.
