75 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 1000 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Ernakulam

We are overjoyed to share the success of our collaboration with the incredible volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 60 of DUA College Vazhakkad for the United Nations Environment Program's World Environment Day 2023 Campaign! Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts led to a highly impactful CleanUp and Plantation Drive on June 5, 2023.

With over 75+ passionate volunteers, NSS Unit 60 took charge of cleaning the college premises, demonstrating their deep commitment to environmental preservation. Their diligent work resulted in the removal of an astounding 1000+ kg of non-biodegradable waste, transforming the campus into a cleaner and healthier space for all.

Beyond the cleanup, these remarkable volunteers planted 20 saplings across the campus, breathing new life into the surroundings. Their efforts have left a lasting impact on the ecosystem, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.

We wholeheartedly applaud the unwavering efforts and outstanding contributions made by the volunteers of NSS Unit 60. This initiative was entirely driven by their dedication and passion for environmental conservation, and we commend them for their exceptional work!
