One volunteer felicitated 35 self-help group women on International Women's Day in Thrissur

On March 8, 2023, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Captains Social Foundation, in collaboration with Decathlon and Green Worms, organized a heartfelt Felicitation Ceremony at Chavakkad Beach, Thrissur. This event was a tribute to the incredible women of Haritha Karma Sena in Chavakkad Municipality, recognizing their relentless efforts in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability in the community.

The ceremony honored 35+ dedicated women who have been instrumental in waste management and keeping the surroundings clean. Their commitment and hard work play a crucial role in fostering a healthier and greener environment. By acknowledging their contributions, the event aimed to inspire more community members to participate in sustainable initiatives.
