48 volunteers crafted a day to spread smiles among 10 senior citizens in Thrissur

On April 11, 2023, the residents of Sweet Home embarked on a memorable journey to Snehatheeram Beach, thanks to the compassionate efforts of our dedicated volunteer, Jyothi Mathew (@mathew_jo30). As part of her initiative ‘Kaithang’ (@kaithang_03), this special trip was organized to bring joy, companionship, and a breath of fresh air to the elderly residents of the old-age home in Thrissur.

This heartwarming initiative was made possible by the unwavering support of 48+ volunteers who came together to raise funds within their community. Their collective effort ensured that over ten elderly residents had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day by the sea, relishing the tranquility and warmth of Snehatheeram Beach.

The journey was filled with laughter, shared stories, and heartfelt moments. The elderly participants expressed their joy and gratitude, cherishing the chance to reconnect with nature and experience the love and care extended by the volunteers.
