32 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 320 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Thrissur.

On May 12, 2023, we at @the.social.captains joined hands with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Little Flower College, Guruvayoor, to organize a CleanUp Drive in Thrissur as part of @gooddeedsday. This initiative was a step towards creating a cleaner, more sustainable environment and fostering community participation in social responsibility.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 32+ volunteers who came together with a shared mission—to clean and beautify the premises of KSRTC Bus Station, Guruvayoor. Armed with gloves, garbage bags, and a deep sense of dedication, the volunteers diligently worked to clear litter, remove unwanted waste, and enhance the aesthetics of the area. Their collective effort transformed the space, making it more welcoming for commuters and locals alike.
Good Deeds Day is a global movement that encourages individuals and organizations to engage in acts of kindness and social service. Our collaboration with NSS Little Flower College was a testament to the impact of community-driven initiatives and the power of collective action.
Beyond just cleaning, the drive also aimed to raise awareness about responsible waste disposal and the importance of maintaining public spaces. Through such events, we hope to inspire more individuals to take small yet meaningful steps towards a cleaner and greener world.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make this event a success. Together, we proved that even small actions can lead to significant positive changes. Let’s continue to be the change we wish to see in the world!
