35 volunteers responsibly collected and disposed of 100 kg of non-biodegradable waste in Ernakulam

On June 5, 2023, in honor of World Environment Day, we teamed up with Totem Resource Center and Lost Monk Hostel to organize a Trekking & Clean-Up Drive as part of the United Nations Environment Program’s global campaign. 🌍💚

With over 35 enthusiastic volunteers, we embarked on a mission to restore the natural beauty of Kurumbalakotta Hill. As we hiked through its breathtaking landscapes, we also worked tirelessly to remove 100KG of waste, ensuring the hill remained as pristine as nature intended. ♻️✨

This initiative wasn’t just about cleaning up—it was about fostering a sense of responsibility and encouraging sustainable practices among nature lovers and adventurers alike. Seeing the dedication and teamwork of our volunteers was truly inspiring. Their commitment to environmental conservation is a beacon of hope for a cleaner, greener future. 🌱💪
